One of the problems with trying to schedule lessons is just that, a schedule!
Also, trying to get across town before or after all of the other activities and committments. It is just so hard to get everyone on the same page that often times lessons are just out of the question.
I have a great solution to those problems.

Is your guitar sick?

My workshop is ready and I am starting to take in repairs. Call me at 337-298-8468 and leave a message. I will call you to discuss your repair needs.
I am also offering string changes with a 2 to 3 day turnaround in most cases.
A string change will consist of buffing and polishing the frets, cleaning and reconditioning the fretboard, cleaning the guitar and of course...changing the *strings.
This kind of maintenance breathes new life into a neglected instrument and prolongs it's life.
The labor charge is $30.00 for 6 string electric and acoustic and $45.00 for 12-string guitars.
*If I do not have the strings you will be asked to provide your own.

| Fig Tree Music has taken the first steps in becoming a repair oriented business rather than a retail store.
Many of my/our customers know that I do really good work and that I take a lot of pride in the quality of my repair work. Many people would rather that no one else does any work on their instruments. This reputation has really created a demand on my time that in the past I could not keep up with.
Since I will not have the distractions of the retail store to take away from repair time I am hoping to be able to accept more repair work and to be able to turn it out quicker.
